Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment
Oversee the full hiring cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing and onboarding.
Training & Development
Ensure all employees are trained in accordance with maritime regulations (STCW, ISM Code, etc.).
Assess training needs and develop training, succession planning and leadership development programs.
Performance Management
Design and implement performance management systems to assess and enhance employee performance.
Conduct regular evaluations of shore staff and provide constructive feedback and development opportunities.
Address performance issues and apply disciplinary procedures where necessary.
Compliance & Regulatory Management
Ensure company-wide compliance with employment regulations and labor laws.
Maintain up-to-date records of certifications, medical examinations and other regulatory documentation.
Oversee accurate HR recordkeeping, including contracts and employee files.
Prepare and present HR metrics and reports to senior management for audits and strategic decision-making.
Employee Relations, Wellbeing & Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances and conflict resolution.
Foster a positive workplace culture to enhance job satisfaction and retention.
Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives tailored to a diverse workforce.
Monitor market trends and adjust compensation strategies to attract and retain talent.
Qualifications:
Human Resources Management degree.
Minimum 3 years of HR management experience, preferably within the maritime or shipping industry.
Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance standards.
Proficiency in MS Office suite.
Excellent command of the English language (C1 level or higher, or relevant academic studies).
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
High emotional intelligence, empathy and the ability to manage conflict and negotiate effectively.

Sea Thrust is looking for a Crew Operator to support crew planning and evaluation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and contributing to the continuous development of seafarers.
Responsibilities
Support the implementation of the company’s crew strategy, selection and qualification criteria, long terms planning, pre-employment and employment arrangements.
Ensure compliance with OCIMF, SIGTTO, Charterers requirements, compliance with STCW – Flag and Company’s training requirements.
Control and maintain record of all documents required by crew members e.g. National and Flag certification, medical documents, evaluations, visas, ticketing.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the seafarers and identify their training needs and propose a plan to the Crew Manager.
Participation in TMSA preparation and in Company’s safety forums.
Cooperate with company’s assigned manning agents worldwide.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of working experience in a similar position.
B.Sc. Degree in Maritime Studies or related discipline.
English language skills minimum B2 or equivalent – preferably C1 (or Graduate studies in English language).
Advanced PC literacy (especially MS Office).
Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
Meticulous with very strong attention to detail.
