  Technical Superintendent (Tankers)

  Elements Tankers, a Tanker Shipping Company of our Group is seeking a Technical Superintendent to join its Technical Department and support the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of its tanker fleet.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of assigned vessels in compliance with Company policies, Class, and international regulations.
  • Maintain regular communication with Masters and Chief Engineers, providing technical support and troubleshooting as required.
  • Monitor vessel condition, PMS status, and technical performance, including NOON reports.
  • Plan and attend dry-dockings, repairs, and major surveys, supervising contractors and repair works.
  • Manage Class-related matters, statutory surveys, and certification validity.
  • Review and approve technical requisitions, spare parts, lubricants, and technical invoices.
  • Promote compliance with the Company Management System (CMS) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  Qualifications

  • Chief Engineer license with at least three (3) years’ sea-going experience in a senior rank or a relevant engineering degree with equivalent experience.
  • Experience with tanker operations and technical management is considered an asset.
  • English language skills minimum B2 or equivalent – preferably C1 (or Graduate studies in English language).
  • Proficient in computer skills with extensive experience in Microsoft Office and ERP software.
  • Ability to work under pressure, strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
